Do you get impatient while waiting for something to happen or do you wonder why God is taking so long to answer your prayers?
The Bible reminds us that God’s timing is different from our timing, and in 2 Peter 3:8
“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”
God’s perspective of time is much different than ours. We want things to happen quickly, but God sees the bigger picture and knows what is best for us in the long run.
Just because God may not answer our prayers or bring about change immediately doesn’t mean He’s not working behind the scenes.
Instead of getting impatient or frustrated; trust that God is faithful to His promises and that His timing is perfect.
Use this time to grow in our faith and trust Him more, knowing that His plans are for your good and His glory. Hold fast to your faith, knowing that God’s timing is never late, and seldom early!
