Signs

Have you ever looked up at the sky on a clear night, marveling at the beauty of the stars? The vastness and complexity of the universe is truly awe-inspiring.

Yet, as we read in Luke 21:25, these celestial wonders are not just for our enjoyment, but also for the purpose of conveying signs and messages to us.

There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars, signaling a time of great trouble and chaos on earth. We see this happening all around us today, with nations in turmoil, and people living in fear and uncertainty.

It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and hopeless in the face of such daunting challenges, but it is important to remember that God is still in control.

The roaring and tossing of the sea mentioned in the verse can also be a metaphor for the tumultuous events that we witness every day.

The storms of life can be frightening and leave us feeling helpless. However, just as Jesus calmed the stormy sea in Mark 4:39, He is able to bring peace and order to the chaos in our lives. We can trust in Him to guide us through the storms and lead us to safety.

God is with us, and He has promised to be our refuge and strength in times of trouble. We can take comfort in knowing that He is in control, and that He will never leave us or forsake us.

As we navigate the challenges of this world, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and trust in His unfailing love and grace.
