Exalted

We all long for a world where peace reigns and justice prevails.

The prophet Isaiah paints a beautiful picture of such a future in Isaiah 2:2.

“In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.”

Though written thousands of years ago, these words continue to inspire and give hope to those who read them.

Isaiah speaks of a time when the mountain of the Lord’s house will be established as the highest of all mountains.

This imagery symbolizes the exalted position of God’s kingdom, representing His authority and rule over all creation.

It’s a vision of a world where God’s presence is tangible and His ways guide every aspect of life.

The prophet also declares that people from all nations will stream to this mountain, seeking to learn from God and walk in His paths.

A powerful image of unity and harmony, where diverse cultures and backgrounds come together under the banner of God’s truth.

As we reflect on Isaiah 2:2, let us be reminded that this vision is not just a distant dream, but a reality that God is actively working to bring about.

It is a call for us to align our lives with His ways and participate in the building of His kingdom here and now.

Seek to live in accordance with His truth, inviting others to join us on this journey of faith, and eagerly anticipating the day when God’s reign of peace and justice will fully manifest.
